Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 27, 2026
MathGem (mathgem.ca) is a free worksheet website run by Thomas Lee, an individual in British Columbia, Canada. This policy explains what information is collected when you use the site, why, and the choices you have. Questions can be sent to [email protected].
No accounts, no forms
MathGem has no registration, login or sign-up form, and it does not ask for your name or email address. Worksheets are generated in your browser, and the settings you choose are not sent to MathGem.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, MathGem uses a few services that receive technical information when a page loads:
- Hosting (Cloudflare). The site is served through Cloudflare, which processes technical request data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site from abuse. Cloudflare Web Analytics also counts page visits and page load times; it does not use cookies.
- Analytics (Google Analytics). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to measure how the site is used, for example which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and the type of device and browser. MathGem uses this only in aggregate, to decide what to improve.
- Fonts and math display. Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts and the math-rendering library (KaTeX) from the jsDelivr content network. These services receive your IP address when they deliver the files.
Advertising
MathGem may show ads served by Google AdSense to help cover its costs.
- Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user's prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- You can opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at youradchoices.ca (Canada) or aboutads.info (United States).
More about how Google uses information from sites that use its services is available at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites. Ads are shown only on screen; they are not part of the printed worksheets.
Cookies and your choices
MathGem itself does not set cookies. The cookies described above are set by Google for analytics and advertising. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies in their settings; the worksheets work the same without them.
If you email MathGem, your message is forwarded by Cloudflare's email routing to the operator's mailbox. Your address and message are used only to reply to you and to follow up on your request, and are not added to any mailing list or shared.
Children
MathGem is intended for parents and teachers, who choose and print worksheets for students. The site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent personal information to MathGem, please email and it will be deleted.
Where information is processed
The services above are run by companies that may process information outside Canada, including in the United States, under their own privacy policies.
Your rights
You may ask what personal information MathGem holds about you (in practice, only emails you have sent) and ask for it to be corrected or deleted, by writing to [email protected].

This policy may be updated from time to time. Changes are posted on this page with a new "Last updated" date.
