MathGem is actively maintained — new worksheet topics, content pages, and fixes ship regularly. Here's a running log of what's changed.
July 2026
- Added a Privacy Policy, About page, and site footer with navigation links.
- Added
robots.txtandsitemap.xmland switched the site to its mathgem.ca domain. - Added binder-tab content pages (Key Concept, Investigate, Process, Basic Exercise) and topic sub-navigation to Basic Math 2, Pre-Algebra, Algebra 2, and Pre-Calculus.
- Added Google Analytics 4 tracking and
ads.txtfor Google AdSense.
June 2026
- Standardized worksheet layout and question counts across every page.
- Fixed print pagination issues, including blank pages and rows splitting across page breaks.
- Replaced the per-page question count control with a simpler page count control.
- Added Set ID display to worksheets and answer sheets for easier matching.
April 2026
- Added the Pre-Calculus page: Functions, Logarithms, Trigonometry, Sequences & Series, and Conic Sections.
- Added KaTeX-based math rendering for proper fractions, exponents, and radicals.
- Added the Basic Math 2 page: Fractions, Decimals, and Percentages.
- Added the Pre-Algebra page: Integers, Order of Operations, and Ratios & Proportions.
- Added the Algebra 2 page: Quadratics, Systems, Polynomial Multiplication, Factoring, Radicals, and Exponents.

March 2026
- Rebuilt MathGem from the ground up in TypeScript, replacing the original AngularJS app.
2019
- Added division problems alongside addition, subtraction, and multiplication.
- Added the MathGem name and logo, and moved to a top menu bar.
- Added an option to keep the first number larger than the second.
- Added negative numbers as a question type.
- Added row spacing controls to adjust the gap between questions.
- Moved the answer sheet off-screen so it only appears when printing.
- Various print layout and division display fixes.

- MathGem launched as a simple Basic Math worksheet generator.
